Status update…

At this time, it looks like I have my leenyspress.com domain back up, so I expect I will focus my posting activity there. I intend to keep this site up as a backup, regardless.

Where I have managed to update the backmatter to my books, it has been to update book links to point to books2read links, so I at least won’t need to redo those.

April 2022 Blog Status

Spinning Globe

Okay, so this month I had to deal with moving my blog back to the free version of WordPress, because I couldn’t afford the annual renewal at BlueHost (still like them, just can’t afford it right now — Hint: Buy more books!). But, I was able to get the stats for April from them. So, combined with the new stats here, April did turn out higher than March, the best monthly number since November and higher than March 2021. So, those are all good news, despite the switch.

Sales could be better, but that’s been true most months. I’m getting close to completing “Summer of Secrets”, the 6th book of the “Taboo in a College Town” series, so that might give May a boost, heading into the summer. Especially if I release an omnibus of the first few books (maybe 1-4?) just after that, while I figure out what I might do for books 7 & 8. Probably another narrator switch. We’ll see.

Site Update

For financial reasons, I’m unable to continue paying for my website hosting through BlueHost and my leenyspress.com domain name will be expiring soon. As a result, I’m reestablishing a free site at WordPress.com, using the domain name leenyspress.wordpress.com. It should be live now, with all of the old posts. Let me know if anything is broken. I’ll be checking pretty much everything, to make sure the new version of the site is as navigable as before.

This also means my email addresses at leenyspress.com will probably start bouncing emails soon. So, if you notice that, I apologize. I will try to reconnect to any newsletters using a gmail account, as soon as I can.

Now to update all of my promos and maybe even redo the back matter in my books (again) to reflect the change.

Happy Writer-versary to Me!

Spinning Globe

March 2016. I was on a work assignment where I traveled to the customer’s city, stayed for 11 nights (including the weekend) and then home for 10 nights, every three weeks. It was cold and not really a time for sightseeing, so I filled the weekends with TV and… reading erotica at Literotica.

I then decided to try my hand at writing some.

My first story on the site (“A Dream For Papa”) went live on March 13th. And I’ve celebrated that as my anniversary as an erotica writer, ever since. This marks my 6th “writer-versary”.

Want to support me to continue my writing for a 7th year?

Consider becoming a Patron at my Patreon or check on any of my books here.

Erotica Groups on MeWe

There are a number of erotica groups (or at least book groups which will accept erotica posts), to which I promote my books. Here’s my list…

The first three, I created and run:

The rest are run by other folks:

If you’re aware of any I missed and would like to see them included, please let me know.

February 2022 Blog Status

February’s hit count is:

  • Lower than January 2022 (by more than 25%, so it’s not just the length of the month);
  • Lower than February 2021;
  • Second lowest of the past 12 months;

Enough said about that. Can March be better, pretty please?

[March 17th and I’ve already surpassed February’s number!]

January 2022 Site Status

Although there are still some hours to go before the month is “officially” over, I can reach a couple of conclusions from my site’s stats, that are unlikely to be overturned:

  • Traffic is rising, following the low of December — each of the full weeks of January were higher than the week before.
  • January’s total, while higher than December’s, is still less than November’s and is a full 40% lower than January 2021.

It will take a lot more growth to get back to the old traffic levels, but it just seems people are online less right now, as others seem to be observing.
